Contains [xvii] 519 printed pages of text with 4 charts, 6 maps and monochrome photographs throughout, colour maps I-XXV (large folding) are in inverse order and stored inside a rear pocket with cloth sides and extensive spare cut gatherings enabling the book to close flat with the loose maps in place. In Very Good condition, no dust wrapper. From the private library of John Tipton and SIGNED by him above his bookplate to the front free end paper 'John Tipton'. John Tipton joined 109 Squadron in June 1943 and went on to complete 70 operations with the squadron through to 1945. He also completed 34 Operations with 40 Squadron in 1941/1942 operating from RAF Wyton and Malta. Member of the P.B.F.A.
