Mounted original textile swatches over 100 pages comprising 483 [14 missing] large samples, and 1048 [34 missing] smaller samples, 16 full-page hand drawn colour plates by Menetrier, each plate depicting a particular fabric from the swatch leaf opposite. Some of the covering to the rear board has worn away through a damp stain, this affects the inside edges of the rear board, but not the fabric leaf, the majority [24] of the missing swatches are across two leaves where all of them have been removed, these two pages showed Écossais Ready, Ensemble Far-West, Bouton Lugwand, Damier Long-Koï, Mousse Shékérazde, Mousse Businesman, Tailleur Myran.
