Uniform matching complete set, volume I [xii], 402 pages, volumes II and III have continuous pagination 1 - 920 and index for both; volume IV - 418 pages with index for the volume and publisher's advertisements at the rear, with 31 plates throughout (1 hand-coloured). Chipping and rubbing of the leather across the spine ends, corners rubbed, hinges sound and not stretched, contents in clean condition without any foxing to the text block. From the private library of Fanny Bridges with her coat of arms bookplate to each front paste down and SIGNED 'Bridges' to each half-title page.
