Despite the title, the book is entirely devoted to boxing. Contains (xvi), 184 printed pages of text with 36 full-page single-sided monochrome archive photographs throughout, 5 simple diagrams. Old dry damp stain to the top quarter of the front cover, spine sun faded, rubbing of the cloth across the top edges, corners turned-in. Wonderful ink message to the front paste down 'Presented by Frank Bradley, esq. National Sporting Club, Mirror of Life Boxing World - To my Friend Mr. Alf Gower, Lightweight Amateur Champion 1908, Featherweight Champion 1905, Lynn Athletic Club, London.'
