John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales described Lower Hardres as: 'A parish in Bridge district, Kent; on Stone-street, 3 miles East of Chartham, and 3¼ miles south of Canterbury.' Contains (ii), 51 mimeograph pages with 3 full-page maps and 5 illustrations throughout. Front and rear covers with light foxing and handling marks, contents in Very Good condition. Scarce.
